梁文福 (Liang Wen Fook)－ 细水长流 ('Friendship Forever')

"Xi Shui Chang Liu" or 'Friendship Forever' is a cornerstone "Xinyao" song composed by Singapore Cultural Medallion recipient and Xinyao stalwart Liang Wern Fook.

Xinyao was a popular Mandarin popular music movement that peaked in 1980s Singapore, an organic music movement where young Singaporeans (Xin jia po ren) would dabble at song-writing to create their own songs (ge Yao).

Xi Shui Chang Shui is a quintessential xinyao anthem where Liang Wern Fook writes about group of friends who talks about their hopes and dreams as students and the lasting friendship they share even as years go by, the friendship that they reminsce with fond memories.
