Woodwind / Wind Quintet Arrangements, Repertoire and Sheet Music

Unlike other catalogs, our collection is not extensive. Rather, we carefully select and arrange music that we think are not only suitable for Woodwind / Wind Quintet, but also delightful to perform and listen! We aim to grow our collection by only about six arrangements yearly! These are our choice selections.

In our Woodwind / Wind Quintet arrangements, we like to preserve authenticity: key signatures are kept, so are original solo passages and composers' intentions (as much as we can interpret).

If the Woodwind / Wind Quintet arrangements allow for some creative freedom, we like to experiment with different woodwind and horn tone colours, and seek to bring out the character of each instruments.

You may wonder what's an oriole? It's a type of bird common in South-East Asia! It has a chirpy and bright call, like woodwind instruments. In fact, woodwind instruments are frequently used to imitate birds of nature. The logo of Oriole Publishing is a silhouette of an oriole, a black-naped oriole to be precise!

We arrange familiar classics, tunes and songs that both you and your audience can sing or hum along!

We arrange music that are catchy, lively and usually no longer than 4-5 minutes. These are miniature, bite-sized fun for performers and listeners alike.

Our Woodwind / Wind arrangements are thoughtfully crafted to bring out the character and colours of each of the instruments of the wind quintet. Our arrangements sometimes call for piccolo and English horn!

These are arrangements suitable for various occasions: indoors or outdoors at gigs, parties, dinners, weddings, recitals, band/orchestra camps, ...

I'm based in Singapore. I'm a classically-trained flautist and have been playing in wind bands, orchestras, and ensembles for quite a number of years.

One day, a few of my woodwind friends got together and wanted to play some wind quintet music. The problem was, there were not many suitable sheet music out there - We didn't want to pay for sheet music, and the quality of some of the arrangements were not up to our expectations.

So, I decided to arrange some music myself and I eventually published them online to share with others!
